Okay so i watched House on my roommates TiVO and it was an episode about a miracle healer. It's about this teenage kid who, through God, has the power to heal people. Ironically he himself gets sick and goes to the hospital. So under a hallucination or the influence of the Holy Spirit or whatever you want to believe, he goes and heals a cancer patient. Of course House doesn't believe him and tried to prove the miracle medically. It turns out that he had herpes, and the herpes virus attacked the cancer tumor and reduced the size of the tumor.

Okay, so whats the takeaway from this episode? I do believe everything CAN be explained scientifically. Every single event that happens in this universe can be explained scientifically if we are that far advanced. Does that take away from the "miracle?" No I don't think so. What is miraculous would be the reason for it happening. For example that boy just happened to be in the same hospital as the cancer patient, had just the right virus that target the specific tumor. That's the miracle; the actual event. God works through science. As a matter of fact God invented science and all the laws that govern the universe. All things can be explained, by all things are still possible with God.

Okay, so I didn't get my banking internship. It's nobody's fault but my own. Why? Because I'm so half-assed about everything. I knew i had to have a complete understanding of banking, and I think just a shallow understanding is enough. I don't read up on it until 20 minutes before the interview and then I'm like freaking out.

Everything came too easy for me. i.e. my current internship, literally someone called me and was like, do you want to have a paid internship at Morgan Stanley. I've been blessed by God with so many things in my life and I didn't really have to work for it at all.

So now, I feel so incompetent. Everything I have, everything I've accomplished (which is like close to nothing), I feel like I don't deserve it. I feel like shit right now :(

And I guess its a defense mechanism, but I don't even want to go into banking anymore. It's like if they don't want me, I don't want them either. Banking is stupid.

iPhone is the greatest invention ever

Okay, so the iPhone changed my life for the better. Well, I guess I was living 2 months without an iPod, but this iPhone business is the shit. I have any information in the world at my fingertips, my music (which is essentially my life), and my phone. I'm still learning cool new tricks with it but so far, I LOVE it.

But on a grimmer note, I don't think I did that well on my Morgan Stanley banking phone interview. I mean she was nice about everything, but I just don't think I answered very well.

I got my stuff from victoria's secret yesterday. On the West: AI, Kobe, Carmelo, Tim Duncan, and Yao Ming. I still think its funny how all 9878947890980989 people in China voted for Yao Ming.

See i usually root for the East, just because... But this year, I don't know. I don't like Wade with a passion. I would root for the West, but Steve Nash isn't starting and AI is gonna steal minutes from Nash... I feel like it would be wayyyy more exciting with Nash running the point, but that's just me. I dunno, I guess for the first time, I'll watch a basketball game being neutral.

AHHHHHH I'm so freaking stressed out.

• I got my banking interview that I have to schedule sometime this week.
• I have to figure out what the hell banking really is, and not according to the book "The Accidental Investment Banker"

So... after work, I go and buy myself an iPhone.

I guess it's not that bad since I've been wanting it for a long time. It just wouldn't be that bad if i didn't have thousands of dollars to pay on my credit cards.....

Ok, for some reason now. I'm unmotivated to work on my website.

Well actually, i do have a reason. For one, I don't know how to incorporate my blog entries onto my website. The only way I can do it now is through an iframe which looks like crap, as you can see.

The second reason in my desktop crash so i no longer have Photoshop CS, and for I can't find a CS for the mac.

So yeah, this site will be dead after this assignment and also this blog.

Sad, but not really.

So when I heard that there's going to be a competition of number of hits someone can bring to a website, I knew I had to win. Why? Because my testosterone makes me super competitive. The question is what content I should include in order to lure in the most number of hits. Anything I have the expertise in would have been fine, sports, basketball, music, fashion, the markets (hey i'm a Sternie), celebrity gossip (sad, but true. I read wayy too much Us Weeklys). I decided to go with none of the above since I learned in my freshman honors seminar that it's really hard to create a viral website that caters to interests of the whole NYU community. (One of the best classes I've ever taken with Professor Lerer (Sp? lol) where we came up with straightguysatnyu.com)

SO.... I decided to create a blog, since I always have shit to say about everything, including all of the topics mentioned above.

I'm really glad for this info tech class. I'm getting back into touch with my computer-geek side. Wow, the last time I had a website was probably back in junior high school. XML wasn't even invited yet. As to why I'm using a layout someone else created instead of coming up with one myself? I don't have photoshop on my MAC and I decided why reinvent the wheel when all these pretty layouts are already available.
