Productivity

School has been out for 3 weeks, and I am feeling SO UNPRODUCTIVE. Working 50 hours a week obviously isn't enough for me. I wanted to take one class at NYU, but that would be $4000, which is what I'm paying for the whole semester (after scholarship). I wanted to study for a test, but there's nothing I could study for since it is way too early to take them(GMAT or LSAT). I think I need a second job.... It would help me feel more productive as well as pay off my $2000 amex bill this month, AGAIN....

CD Industry

Okay, so I went to Virgin Megastore wanting to buy J Holiday's Back of My 'Lac album, but it's $27.99. What's up with that?! I mean I love J Holiday, which is why I wanted to album, but it's in NO way worth $28.....

In addition to that, I noticed that they are selling these CDs that are wrapped not in the plastic hardcase, but in the cardboard single cases, that are selling for $10, as opposed to $15.

I see what they're doing, it's desperate, but it's the only thing they can do. Since the fixed costs (production) of CDs are so high, the only way to cover it is to sell as many as possible, and minimize the variable cost to virtually nothing (cost of a blank CD and I guess cardboard). I really don't see how much they can save by not using the plastic hard case, but I guess the point is to differentiate and capture the consumers that would buy at $10, rather than $15.

Whatever, I still believe all music should be free. Although I spend way too much on CDs.....

Megan Fox Nekkid

I regularly go to a few sites every time I sign on (which are conveniently located on my firefox tab). They include: Facebook, Gmail, NYU, AOL, Myspace, Megan Fox Fansite, Rihanna Fansite, Maroon 5 Blog, and Media Takeout.

So this morning, I went to the Megan Fox fansite and there was an update of almost nude Megan Fox pictures. The pictures had like around 5 views each. 12 hours later, the pictures have like 3000 views each. Mind you, this is not a huge site, I'm guessing daily visitors of around 300/day.

I guess moral of the story is, Megan Fox is pretty well appreciated. I personally think she's gorgeous. A hotter version of Angelina Jolie.

Tech Stuff

For anyone that knows me, it's already pretty obvious that I love my iPhone. I just don't know if I should unlock it or not. I'm surprised that I haven't but I really don't want to void my warranty because I know my iPhone is defective (i.e. it crashes all the times). There are so many cool programs I would want to get tho, like the guitar application, radio, the piano application, record vidoes, etc, etc, etc.

But right now I'm in love with flytunes.fm. I can listen to the radio on my iPhone. I mean I know other mp3 players can do that, but the iPhone can do so many other things that other mp3 players/phones can't.

Word of advice on iPhone cases, the best one case out there is NO CASE. Everything else scratches up your iPhone, ironically. Or you can just change the color from colorwarez.com

Anyway, I'm so happy I got an A in American Constitution. I'm aiming for all A's this semester. Hopefully, I got an A in Info Tech, the class I made this website for.

I'm like having difficulty coming up with strategic goals, I guess I just don't know what I want out of life, and I don't know what makes me happy.

Life Crisis

I dunno wtf is wrong with me. At random times, I would have these random life crisis, like what am I doing with my life. I've been 20 for 2 months, and I feel like I should be accomplishing so many things. It's like older I get, the less realistic my dreams seem, my potential seems to diminish.

At least I won the Strategy Competition for my IT class. Now, to get an A in the class, or rather straight A's in all my 5 classes and maybe I wouldn't so depressed and have to deal with this stupid life crisis.
