Money, Power, Respect...

1 year anniversary...

My 1 year anniversary upon moving to LA. I know I blog about my geography incessantly, but I think it defines who I am - at the moment at least. It defines what I do, the news I encounter, the people I meet, the culture / art I am expose to, and my everyday life.

Anyway, I think I'm finally over New York. Not that I don't love it and wouldn't want to move back, but I had a funny feeling a few days ago. I came across a NY license plate on the road, which I always get excited about. I looked over and felt a feeling that I couldn't describe. It was a kind of happiness and fondness, yet knowing that the experience was in the past. It hit me. The feeling I felt upon seeing the NY license plate is the same feeling I got when I was finally getting over my ex boyfriend.

For accepting LA and getting over NY, I almost feel like a different person, it's weird.
